Soon after Colleen and I met through blogging, we started brainstorming a way to find other local bloggers. Over a couple of marathon phone conversations, we hatched a plan to put out the word via our blogs and Twitter about a dinner meet-up for any local mom bloggers who might be interested.
We discovered that there were more bloggers in our midst than we had initially realized, and we ended up with almost 20 bloggers meeting for dinner at Buca Di Beppo in Exton. We were crammed into the Pope’s room, which we all found rather comical. We literally had to remove a bust of the pope from the center of our table before we could eat.
We talked nonstop for three hours, at which point they finally kicked us out because the next party was waiting. You’ve never seen talking until you’ve been in a room with 20 bloggers. At one point it was so loud, I couldn’t hear the person next to me. But we had a blast.
At the time, the Graco headquarters was located in Exton and they generously offered to pick up the tab for dinner AND they brought along some serious swag. Two lucky ladies left with brand new Graco Nautilus car seats.
Here are a few pictures of the night.
