Philly Mom Bloggers at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets

Thanks to the hard work of Keri Graddy, the assistant general manager of the Philadelphia Premium outlets, our Philly mom bloggers group was invited to the mall for a day of Christmas shopping and special deals and swag just for us.

Unfortunately due to sick children and inclement weather, we didn’t have the blogger turnout we were anticipating, but those of us who were able to make it had a great time.  Starbucks provided complimentary coffee and treats (need I say more?) while we chatted and got to know one another better.

In attendance was Keri Graddy, assistant general manager of the Philadelphia Premium Outlets, Katt from Mommy Needs Therapy, Marcia, Lollie of the Philadelphia Moms Blog and the 50-Something Moms Blog, Sarah of Genesis Moments, Jo-Lynne from Musings of a Housewife, and Melissa from Girlymama.

After getting our fill of sweets and caffeine, we broke up and went. . . shopping!  Where else!?

Melissa, Sarah and I stopped into Zales for a free ring cleaning and to thank them for the jewelry travel bags in our swag bags.  From there we stopped into Crabtree and Evelyn to thank them for the gift in our swag bags and ended up purchasing several of their Hand Recovery Kits for teacher gifts.

Lindt Chocolates had a free bag of truffles waiting for us, and we each bought several of their ornaments filled with truffles.

Our conversations with store workers were interesting.  They were obviously expecting us, but some had no idea what blogging was while others have friends who are bloggers.  We had fun explaining what we’re all about and inviting them to visit our blogs.

I want to say a big thanks to Keri and the outlets for hosting us yesterday.
