PSMM Holiday Party with Cyber Monday Events

We had an amazing turnout on Monday night for our 2nd annual Philly Social Media Moms Holiday Party. We teamed up with Cyber Monday Events for an evening full of delicious food, fab entertainment and sensational prizes from brands such as Baby Bjorn, Plan Toys, Rose Romano’s, Toy State, ASTRA, Urban Sitter, GMH Mortgage and many more!

Our Host, Dave & Buster’s

Dave & Buster’s in Plymouth Meeting generously hosted our event and provided some food samplings. The nacho bar was a hit.

Their meeting room is a fantastic place for holiday parties and gatherings. It is spacious and elegant, and their servers were all incredibly friendly and accomodating.

Fabulous Food & Drink

Whole Foods came with a sampling of their gourmet cheeses — which were delectable. They plated a sampling for each of us and explained some of what they have to offer their customers. It is truly a gourmet cheese shop within a larger retail store — so convenient!

Wine Sisterhood provided wine for the evening. We love their sassy titles. With names like Middle Sister, Promiscuous and Monogamy, how could they be anything but delicious!?

Bai Drinks was with us again, sharing their antioxidant-rich juice drinks.

And what is a party without dessert!?

RoMar Chocolates came out from Philadelphia to share their delicious chocolate creations. The popcorn was good too!

PSMM Represents

Many PSMM members made donations to the raffle prizes. Rachee donated one of her hand knit hat and scarf sets; find her shop yaRRns on Etsy. Erin Flynn Jay, Colleen Padilla and Paige Wolf donated copies of their books, Mastering the Mommy Track, Digital Mom Handbook and Spit That Out, respectively. Denise Sabia of The Painted Home donated one of her vintage paper wreaths, and The Sparrow Fund donated a gorgeous bracelet from their Etsy shop.

Swagalicious!

At the end of the evening, we drew names for the raffle.

We were also treated to a sneak peek of a new movie being released this fall, The Heart of Christmas.

Charity Partner | Cradles to Crayons

Part of the purpose of Philly Social Media Moms is to use our social media influence for good in the community. Attendees brought generous donations to support Cradles to Crayons, a local organization that provides children living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive.

We are thrilled to say that we were able to fill Sarah Peppel‘s Suburban until it was brimming with new and gently used toys and books and clothing, which we delivered to C2C on our way home from the event.

DONATE to Cradles to Crayons!

If you want to donate to Cradles to Crayons, they have a list on their site of Most Needed Items. This list is constantly updated so you know how you can best support the work they are doing for the needy in our area. You can drop them off at their warehouse in West Conshohocken at any time.

Also, consider attending their Un-Gala on December 1st. You can get your tickets at www.2012ungala.eventbrite.com.

Thanks!

I want to thank Stephanie Lee Photography and Stephanie Glover Photography for capturing our event so beautifully on camera!

And I also want to thank Sarah Peppel and Debbie Bookstaber of Cyber Monday Events for helping me bring this event together.
