Bloggers Help Kick Off the Season at Sesame Place

Sesame Place Opening Day @Jersey Family Fun 2011

What a beautiful, glorious day we had last Saturday when Sesame Place hosted a group of area bloggers and their families to kick off the 2011 season.

Bloggers came from as close as Philadelphia and as far away as New York to enjoy some of Sesame Place’s classic attractions and be introduced to new ones. Classics like Nets ‘n’ Climbs, Grover’s World Twirl, and Sesame Neighborhood did not disappoint. Many of us took great pictures of our kids with the Sesame Street characters or climbing on the fire engine.

As some of the first to visit Sesame Place this year, PSMM members got up close with the newest character, Murray; we flew through the sky with Elmo’s Cloud Chaser, a new ride; and we partied with all of our Sesame Street friends at the NEW Neighborhood Street Party Parade.

Some were brave enough to take a dip at the Count’s Splash Castle or a ride down Big Bird’s Rambling River. Others stayed dry visiting Elmo’s World or Big Bird’s Court. And some of us took a little rest catching performances in one of the Sesame Place theaters.

At the end of the day, all of us had had fun and our children were wonderfully wornout. Our thanks to Sesame Place for a fun day and great PSMM get together.

Disclosure: Some PSMM members were given free admission to Sesame Place in order to experience the park. Experiences and opinions detailed in this post are my own.
